Julia is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor, a Licensed School Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. She earned her Master’s of Arts in School Counseling at Kent State University and her Clinical Counseling Degree at the University of Akron.

Julia has been working with adults, children and adolescents in a professional capacity for over 20 years.

Julia has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in both the clinical and the school setting often coordinating services for more comprehensive care. Her experience covers most youth challenges including but not limited to adjustment issues, anger management, attachment, abuse, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, behavioral issues, depression, divorce, grief, relationship difficulties, school refusal, social anxiety and trauma.

As a Registered Play Therapist, Julia has a passion for utilizing play therapy as one of her treatment approaches also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy including Mindfulness, and Systems Theory in her practice. As a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, Julia is licensed to supervise future play therapists.

Adult clients can find support with family issues including communication and parenting, balancing roles of career, family, caregiver and other demands. Julia adds a wholistic approach allowing adults to connect patterns from their childhood into their adult lives gaining insight when applicable.

Julia has additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, CBT Trauma Based Therapy and received her Legal and Ethical Specialist Certification from the American School Counseling Association. She also teaches for the University of Akron as an adjunct faculty in their school and clinical counseling programs.

When not with clients, Julia enjoys life with her family and all of the activities her children enjoy, friends, her family pets, running, being outside and traveling.

LPCC-S, CDCA — Adults

Audra Norris is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervisor and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant.

Audra received a Masters of Art in Education at the University of Akron. Audra also studied psychology at Kent State University. Audra is a trained EMDR Therapist serving adults who have experienced traumatic events. As an EMDR therapist, Audra utilizes a trauma-focused approach in order to reduce client emotional intensity and memory of distressing events. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as, Solution Focused, Person-Centered, and Strength Based approaches in therapy.

Audra has been working as a clinician since 2017. Prior to private practice, Audra worked within the forensic setting, focusing on advocating for those whose mental health symptoms resulted in criminal behaviors. Throughout this experience, Audra was involved with court ordered mental health evaluations and forensic tracking . Audra also provided individual counseling which included issues such as grief, anger, anxiety, severe depression and suicidality, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, low self-esteem, personality disorders, psychosis, addiction, and developmental delays. Audra has extensive history with aiding those in active crisis and mental health decompensation, including working with medical staff when pharmaceutical intervention was also needed.

In her spare time, Audra is very active with her family, husband and son. She loves to travel and see new places! She enjoys shopping and being outdoors.

LPC, NCC — Adults and Couples

Rocco (he/him/his) is a graduate of Capella University earning his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor.

From his personal life journey, Rocco spent 24 years in the Information Technology profession working with diverse individuals and groups troubleshooting problems and training to bridge the gap between humans and technology. In his personal time Rocco focused on his own mental and emotional wellbeing healing the years of childhood trauma, with a desire to always become a counselor. It so happened that in 2020 the opportunity opened up for him to take the leap and pursue his dream.

Rocco understands that every individual is uniquely shaped by the influences of their heritage, environment, and life experiences. Rocco believes people are inherently good and, given a chance in a healthy and safe environment, will make decisions that help themselves and others. Additionally, Rocco understands that we all desire connection on a deeply human level, to be affirmed that we have something to offer, and are loved and accepted for who we are. Some of us sometimes need a little help to make sense of our neglected, traumatic, or adverse experiences in life.

The foundation of Rocco’s integrative therapeutic approach is built on the core principles of Person-Centered Theory, including empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. Whether seeking help for a current or lifelong issue, Rocco focuses his work with clients in a judgment free, safe, professional environment to assess their emotional, mental, physical, social, and relational health, integrating therapeutic interventions according to their specific and unique needs and desires. Working in collaboration with the client to enhance their skills with strategies focused on their resilience, self-awareness, self-esteem, mindfulness, emotional regulation, problem-solving, stress tolerance, and other factors to achieve optimal mental and emotional health and overall wellness. Additionally, Rocco has completed training in Levels 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, to use in his work with couples.

Rocco will continue his professional journey pursuing training and certifications in Attachment Theory, Trauma Informed care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and more as he builds his experience. In his personal time, Rocco loves to spend time with his wife, whether it's rocking at her band's gigs or hiking together at one of the many trails in the region. Rocco also loves to travel from unique places here in Ohio, the mountains out west, or the great wall of China. Rocco loves to meet new people and learn about their amazing life stories.

LISW-S, MSW, JD — Adults

Jillian Williams is a licensed independent social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals heal from emotional trauma and reconnect with their inner resilience. She holds a Master of Social Work from Cleveland State University, a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Otterbein University.

For the past ten years, Jillian has specialized in holistic psychotherapy, an integrative therapeutic approach that combines traditional talk therapy with nontraditional modalities to promote healing on the levels of mind, body, and spirit. She integrates psychodynamic, behavioral, and cognitive therapies with mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, guided imagery, and advanced clinical hypnotherapy. Her holistic framework supports clients in identifying and releasing emotional blocks, restoring balance, and achieving a greater sense of personal integration.

Jillian has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence, with a strong emphasis on understanding the complex dynamics of abusive relationships, including but not limited to narcissistic abuse. She supports clients in untangling the emotional and psychological effects of generational trauma, coercive control, gaslighting, and trauma bonding, while rebuilding self-worth, identity, and boundaries. Her trauma-informed approach honors each client’s pace and resilience, fostering a safe and validating therapeutic space.

Jillian’s work is rooted in the belief that healing is most powerful when the mind, body, and spirit are aligned. She is passionate about helping individuals uncover their inner strength, shift long-standing patterns, and move toward a life of clarity, balance, and empowerment.

Outside of work, Jillian’s world revolves around her family. Whether she’s in the stands cheering at her kids’ games and competitions or boarding the plane for their next adventure, she’s all about making memories. Some of her favorites are by the ocean—if there’s sand between her toes, salt in the air, and the sound of waves nearby, Jillian is exactly where she wants to be.

Christina is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Akron. Christina provides a depth oriented therapy that is integrative, holistic and seeks to encompass mind, body and soul into the treatment process.

Christina enjoys working with adults who are interested in developing greater self-understanding and exploring the root causes of their issues. The therapeutic process may involve a deeper exploration of one’s emotional landscape, early life experiences, interpersonal relationships, and recurring patterns. To cultivate further insight and personal growth, Christina also may utilize various expressive techniques such as art, music, writing or sand tray as options for clients who are open to them.

Christina has experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, parenting, life transitions, and religious, spiritual & existential matters. Christina has a special interest in working with parents who are looking to break generational cycles of trauma and abuse through exploration of their own childhood, family of origin, and intergenerational trauma.

In her spare time, Christina enjoys reading, painting, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Isabella Stanziano is a graduate student at Cleveland State University, studying Clinical Mental Heath Counseling. She is being trained to work with all populations but has a special license for Chemical Dependency Counseling. Isabella has experience working with both children and adults in many different aspects. In therapy, she strives to make meaningful connections with her clients and work along side of them to help them become the best versions of themselves.

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys being outside, reading, and spending time with family. She is eager to learn and is open to adventure.
