TEND is a space for young girls, teens, and women to build habits and practices that move us to deeper living, wonder, expression and becoming.

To tend is to move in a particular direction.

Together we will build tenacity, engage with life, notice, be curious and develop discipline.

Meet the Owner, Sarabeth Clarke

Sarabeth

Hi! I am Sarabeth!

My fitness journey started after having my sixth kid (Yes, I have six kids. 5 lovely girls and 1 sweet boy). I had a few friends keep inviting me to workout with them and I finally said “Sure, let’s give it a try.” I stepped into a journey of discovery, building confidence, and seeing what I was capable of. I will never forget not being able to do any sit ups when I first started, how everything felt like a completely different language and that I felt like I needed to catch up to everyone else.

There can be a lot of barriers felt when it comes to stepping into a gym. I am here to tell you that it is worth it to climb over the barriers and find yourself with others who also have barriers they are climbing and get to be in it together.

TEND is a women’s gym space with the heart of meeting girls, teens and women where they are in their fitness journey. Whether they have never worked out or have been working out for years, TEND is a space that is designed to partner in the journey of both heart and body wellness and growth. We will build habits and practices together that moves us to deeper living, wonder and expression. This is the heartbeat of TEND. Through group classes we will get to connect with ourselves and others and say yes to doing hard things.

I believe that everything is figureoutable, nothing is purposeless, that doing hard things is what draws out of us deeper expression and living, that we need to turn down the volume of our inner critic and give ourselves compassion, and enjoy life. Movement helps us find pieces of ourselves we may not know yet and deepen parts of ourselves that we do know.

We are all just figuring it out this thing called life and being human. I invite you do step into a space that honors where you are today, calls you to more, and wants to link arms with you on the journey. Let’s build tenacity, engage with life, notice and be curious, and develop discipline together.

P.S. some random fun facts about me (and I want to know yours too!) –

• I have way too many house plants and have every intention of getting more.

• I don’t like coffee (I catch a lot of flak for that).

• I enjoy reading non-fiction within an occasional fiction mixed in (give me your book recommendations!).

• I love taking photos, especially of nature.

• My favorite piece of equipment is my ruck. You can often find me enjoying the local trails with some weight

on my back.
